Thanks Prue - I agree the poem is delightful. Also interesting that you mentioned Desiderata because that one actually crossed my mind yesterday as I was contemplating how my life has changed and how simplicity is moving to the top of the priority list. The first line truly seems to have arrived for me:
"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons."
Another delight, Prue - your 'Desiderata' has stopped me in my tracks to consider what would be on my own list. I'm treating it as a prompt - for which thank you!
Your grace shines through in your pictures of ballet class - you are all so beautifully poised. Absolutely wonderful stuff - and it's totally clear that you're all having a fabulous time!
I'm going to be checking out your wonderful links - you always point me in the most wonderful directions. Thank you. 😘
Ohh this was so fun to read, and like the others said, I’m looking forward to diving into the links. I always feel calm after your Saturday reads. So many thanks for that. And before I forget, I sent you an email via your author page-I have a bunch of photos of l’Ile do Barbe for you if you want to see them anytime. Shall I try to reach you via em here instead?
And if you have the time, any memories of sight, sound, smell, touch etc of the island.
I know it sounds strange but my dearest friend, my former researcher (who lived in Lyon), died and this is what he would do - not just find fact but would find the ethereal things for me. he knew what I needed without me barely saying a word. I do miss him so.
Contact via my website email would be fine if that's okay with you. I honestly can't thank you enough.
Oh goodness I’m so delighted to be able to help! I will get in touch once I am back home later today. And what a lovely friend he sounds like. So very sorry he is not here for you now. You must miss him terribly. ❤️

♥️
So much to love here! I’ll come back for a closer look later when I have a little more time. But what a pleasure. 🤗🤗😘
