Oh, Prue - that FACE! That Terrier one-two step with his wee ball (I sense a soccer enthusiast!)

He is completely perfect. I am so happy he's with you - I know it's sure to still feel bittersweet every now and then but what a lovely way to begin each and every day. (Though hoping not TOO early lol!)

Quite easily the best thing I have seen or read all day. Love to you all xoxo

Sue, we normally wake 7.30-8 ish. Today I could hear the Young Terrier with his toys in his bed at 6 and at 6. 30 there was a whine to go out and pee. Which he did and then played non-stop in between wee, poo and food. Then like a little toy winding down, he crashed at 8.30AM and has been asleep for about 2 hours. Thank heaven... we too need to have toilet breaks and breakfast!

It's exhausting. But he does make us laugh.

My lower back is struggling with bending down so often so, oh to be young. He's a sweet boy. Long may it last.

We are now resting when he rests. Like mothers and newborns. Or we could just be seen to be very old people which is closer to the truth.

I hear that. I am at a farm conference this weekend which requires me to expend a different kind of energy, also exhausting (and fun in its own ways). I don't remember these things being quite so taxing a decade or two ago. 🤪 That said, you are NOT what I would call very old. Not even close.

Ah, puppy love! The puppy smell, the little kisses, the wriggles and hops and tiny whimpers and sighs into sweet snuggles and naps and how quickly they become ours and WE are theirs! What joy! Mischief to come!
